We need volunteers! Mississippi College organizes a progressive dinner every year. It’s a time when new freshmen and transfers can visit five churches in one night and get a sweet meal on the way.
Morrison Heights is hosting stop #3 this year (appetizer/salad). If Morrison Heights is already your church, come by 6:30 pm to help set up. We’ll give you a Kaleo t-shirt and you can meet all the new MC students. Wear jeans or shorts (the t-shirts are khaki). And come with a smile. These students are not just our future friends–they’re our mission field.
One of the great things about Progressive Dinner is that it’s an opportunity for some of the Baptist churches of the Jackson area to work together even as we go about our work separately. The goal is to help each college student find a church to thrive in. Pray that God will use this night to bring many students to himself and impress on all of us the importance of being an active part of a church.
